We hold weekly arts and crafts workshops for our residents here at Cumnor HIll House. It is a great way for them to relax and socialise. Many of our residents enjoy attending each week and we tailor the sessions to special days or events of the year such as Easter, Christmas, World Map Day, and many, many more.
The residents have been looking at our stamp collection and adding in the new stamps. This is a hobby enjoyed by many and our collection continues to grow !!
Today one of our residents, Doreen, decided to take a trip down Memory Lane. She started working as a hairdresser in London at the age of 15. So we gave her the opportunity to see if she still has what it takes. She gave one staff member a haircut and another a wash and blow-dry. Both were very impressed with the finished result. Doreen felt like she’d never stopped, the smile on her face was a joy to see
